ARTSL is a non profit human right and developmental organization founded 13th, May 2008 to address the needs of women, children and youth and their communities.
ARTSL gives you the opportunity to volunteer or do internship in rural communities in Sierra Leone where you can print the mark of change in the lives of the most needy.
Presently, we are operating two seperate Youth-Adult Literacy Centers through our Functional Literacy Program for Women, Youth and Adult who were not fortunate to go through formal education.

Our ongoing REACH STREET KIDS project is also a heart taking exercise that may win your interest. We shall be grateful to see that you give a helping hand to street children.
ARTSL runs radio programs, one of which is the Youth Transition School (YTS) that ushers you a warm invitation to participate and enjoy it successful reputation and good will through a nation-wide linked radio stations networking ( Citizen Radio 103.7FM, Eagle Africa 91.3FM and Lion Mountain 101.5FM).
ARTSL has its ART, CULTURE and TOURISM sectors that are full of fun though some how challenging for local arttists. We are not sure of what tyour interest there may be in these sectors, you may want to face its challenges and enjoy the fun as Sierra Leone show cases her new face branded after the 50th Independence Aniversary celebrations of April 27th 2011........................................................................ wow
Our Human Rights activism. Your participation will be of a great assisance to the less privileged Sierra Leoneans in need of legal assistance, advocacy and the defence of their God given rights. Further more, the popularization of Legal Bills before they are passed in our Honourable House of Parliament is a keen responsibility we always assume in the bid to enhance our beneficiaries(women, youth and children) to understand such legal instruments made on their be half so that they too can add their opinions and interest before these Bills are passed as Acts of parliament .
Women deriving micro finance from Banks and lending institutions are in a serious danger; so ARTSL gives them the required arithmetic and reading and writing ability to develop
their lives......
