“Tamara
Barrie in Sierra Leone”
Tamara Barrie 27 is a Swiss national and a graduate in
social work from the FHNW Basel, Switzerland. Tamara has been in Sierra Leone since
October 8, 2010 in an effort to voluntarily support the work of Art Resourceful
Tourism Sierra Leone. She is participating in the ARTSL theatre which is to
stage a drama titled “BONGOR” sometime in December 2010 in Freetown.
She
has been so unlimitedly proving helpful in impacting change in the lives of
ARTSL Beneficiary/Learners at the Freetown Center where she is taking part in
the conduct of the Beneficiaries/Learners’ Union election that is to come up on
Monday 29th November 2010.

Her passionate character will leave a room for the
enhancement of peace, zeal for the pursuance of education and solidarity among
the beneficiaries and co-volunteers she works with.
She is a part of the cleaning exercise after a well
conducted ARTSL Beneficiary/Learners’ Union Manifesto held on Thursday 25thNovember 2010.
Tamara is a member of the Seven people Committee that will
conduct the 2010 Beneficiary/Learners’ Election on Monday 29 Nov 2010.
She has also been teaching in the ARTSL Youth-Adult
Education Program at the Freetown Center at the Eastern part of Sierra Leone’s
capital city, Freetown.
